The Surprising Reason Why You Should Cry in Public! Podcast #26 Get Real with The English Sisters
In this episode of our podcast – Get Real with The English Sisters we discuss the number one reason why you should cry in public to relieve anxiety.
Why you should cry and why it’s good to cry in public and in private to release anxiety! Crying helps you release your emotion which is good for your mental health. When you allow yourself to cry in public or in front of others you are indeed showing strength not weakness. In many societies and families and workplaces crying is still seen as a sign of weakness. We don’t agree with this and we think that the more you are able to cry and release your feelings the more you gain emotional wellbeing and strength. Crying is so natural and it is so sad that we are often taught to suppress it. When we come into the world we cry as a baby and it is completely natural. It is our first way of communicating so why on earth would we want to suppress this emotion. It is more acceptable to cry in public for women however it is still in 2022 very difficult for men to cry in public when they are upset or disappointed and for everyone it is still seen as not the right thing to do.
